The Beatitudes Project
Blessed be
Salt of the earth. Light of the world.
The Beatitudes Project exists to bring the love of Christ into places of darkness, offering hope to the hopeless, comfort to the brokenhearted, and compassion to the forgotten.
Our mission
To share that love and that light.
Rooted in Matthew 5 and 1 Corinthians 13, this work starts with presence, service, mercy, and love that does not turn away from need.
Our mission is to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world, bringing the love of Christ into places of darkness.
We seek to bring hope to the hopeless, comfort to the brokenhearted, strength to the weary, dignity to the downtrodden, and compassion to the forgotten.
Through love that is patient and kind, love that bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things, we desire to be the hands and feet of Christ, shining His light so that every life we touch points to the hope of His Kingdom.
The work ahead
Simple help, offered with dignity.
Meeting immediate needs with practical care and a human face.
Helping people carry burdens that have become too heavy to carry alone.
Coming alongside the widowed, orphaned, homeless, and overlooked.
Mobilizing willing hands for quiet service and faithful presence.
Scripture
The heart behind the work.
Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Matthew 5:3-4, KJV
Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up. 1 Corinthians 13:4, KJV
Ye are the salt of the earth... Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Matthew 5:13-14, KJV
And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity. 1 Corinthians 13:13, KJV
